Vascular Lesion Removal

COMING SOON!

What is vascular lesion removal?

Vascular lesion removal at UNBRANDED Austin is a noninvasive laser treatment that removes unsightly lesions, like spider veins, rosacea, varicose veins, port win stains, and more. While vascular lesions are not harmful, many people remove them for cosmetic reasons. Vascular lesions are very common and have a varied appearance, most commonly seen on the face and legs. Vascular lesions are the results of numerous factors, including aging, activity levels, genetics, and hormones.

How does vascular lesion removal work?

During a laser treatment, our Astanza Duality emits a light beam into the skin that is absorbed by the hemoglobin in your blood. The absorption of light energy warms the blood significantly leading to the inflammation of the vessel’s inner wall and the occlusion or collapse of the vessel.

The weeks following treatment, a small bruise will form. As the bruise heals, the vessel will fade and disappear. Vascular lesions do not form again once they are treated. Staying active and protecting your sun from sun exposure can prevent additional lesions from forming.

How many treatments will I need?

Most clients need 2 to 3 treatments before seeing complete removal, but most see significant results after a single treatment. The number of treatments will rely on the severity and size of the vessel being treated.

Does the laser hurt?

Most clients will feel a warm sensation that is very tolerable and treatments are also very fast. UNBRANDED Austin uses the Zimmer Cryo cooling machine to alleviate any discomfort associated with the laser.
