Treating Keratosis Pilaris with Hollywood Peel method

Hidden benefits to Hollywood Peel

Greetings….

If you’ve been following, you’ll know that I kicked off the new service with Carbon Laser Facials this month. There haven’t been any ads or marketing for this yet, just starting with friends and family and going from there, so far with a few bookings which will only be for Tuesdays each week.

One of my friends has a 13-year old daughter who’s developed an annoying patch of small bumps on her upper arms, known as KP (Keratosis Pilaris).  They had tried “everything” from medication to creams and scrubs and nothing was working.  A very supportive mutual friend of ours highly suggested trying out the Hollywood Peel service on her arms and while I wasn’t opposed to this, I would be remis in my duties as a nurse to not manage expectations by telling them that we can give it a shot, but don’t get your hopes up.

Well as luck would have it, the session was an instant success after just the one treatment!  Her mother reported back within a few days to say that all of the bumps had vanished! At the very least, we can say this is beginner’s luck because I don’t want to over-celebrate a success that might not be so easily duplicated for someone else but I will say that I’m optimistic since it stands to reason that the laser targets the keratin build-up within the lumps and bumps, breaking it down. This results in directly treating the KP and giving one back their smooth arms.

I’m really excited to see this already giving very positive results to some of my clients. So far, there’s been some reports from clients indicating shrunken pores, reduced hyperpigmentation/melasma, evening of skin tone, reduction of fine lines, and tighter skin!

The best part is that there’s no downtime and no discomfort!

I actually find this work to be more relaxing for me than doing tattoo removal because the results are so instantaneous and I don’t have to worry about cooling the skin.  Plus, it’s very satisfying to me to watch that carbon get literally obliterated right off the skin!

If you haven’t already, check out the information page on Carbon Laser Facials and get on the Waiting List.  The prices are reasonable and I will do my best to keep it that way despite the growing rate of inflation.   Please feel free to reach out to me for any questions!
